Lime Crime Lipsticks review!

Hey Girls, so today I'm going to be reviewing the Lime Crime lipsticks! I just purchased two lipsticks from the Pop Romance collection which is why It took me awhile to review. I own 5 out of the 12 that they have. Lime Crime is completely cruelty free and are vegan!

This is the box packaging that the lipsticks come in.

The lipstick packaging is a shiny Magenta-Pink bullet with a holographic Unicorn.

And on this side it's holographic lettering with the brand name.

The Lipsticks that I own are:
New Yolk City (Bright Yellow)
Mint To Be (Mint Green)
Cosmopop (Pastel Orange)
D'Lilac (Lilac)
No She Didn't (Bright Blue)

Here is an arm swatch of the five lipsticks.

New Yolk City
This shade is a cool toned bright yellow. I find this shade would work best with cooler/fair skintones because it seems to have a slight grey undertone to it then red-ish orangy tones which yellows seem to have. The one thing I didn't like about this lipstick is that it does apply uneven and streaky. I found the best way to wear it is with a lipgloss which I wasn't too happy about that because with brighter colors such as this one I don't like to apply lipgloss, but if your someone who doesn't mind lipgloss then you shouldn't have a problem. The lasting power on me with this lipstick was about 3 hours before I had to touch up. The color is amazing but you definitely have to work with it.

No She Didn't
This shade is a bright blue. This shade is a bit more sky blue than a true blue which makes it more flattering to wear for more people. This shade will work on any skintone. What I love about this color is that it's creamy and opaque and applies beautifully. The lasting power is great its usually lasts about 5 hours without touch-ups and you don't have to wear a lipgloss on top. This color is also great for layering under your lipstick to make your color cooler and make your teeth whiter.

Cosmopop
This shade is a Popsicle pastel orange. This Color is amazing for darker skintones. Even though its a lighter shade of orange it has a bit of a warm color to it which makes it look much better for darker skintones. I'm a bit fair and I find this color a bit hard to work with unless I have a tan. The application is very smooth and creamy and goes on true to color. You don't have to use a lipgloss on top (but is looks amazing with!) and the lasting power is about 5 hours before I have to touch-up.

D'lilac
This shade is a cool toned true Lilac. This has to be my favorite out of all the Lime Crime lipsticks. This color is very cool toned and has strong undertones of grey and a bit of blue. It's usually hard to find a lilac this color which is why it's my favorite. You can usually find more blue toned or pink toned lilacs but never this grey! This shade would work best for fair skintones due to the grey undertones, but if you layer and play with this color a bit I think anyone can pull it off! Its very creamy and opaque and lasts around 5-6 hours before I have to touch up. I love to pair this color up with Revlon's Lilac Pastel Lipgloss , They look so amazing together!

Mint To Be
This shade is a true mint green. This color I was most excited to own due to the fact that it was mint green! This shade is very true to color it doesn't pull any green or blue undertones its very even and it's a true mint green. This shade is a pastel color which would work best for fair skintones. I find this color to apply much better than New Yolk City, It applies evenly but not as creamy as No She Didn't. The lasting power with this shade is about 3-4 hours. You don't have to put a lipgloss over it but after awhile it does seep into your fine lines. It is opaque but not as creamy as I would like it.

Over all I do Love Lime Crimes lipsticks. I have never seen another brand make such bright fun colors which is why I love and support this company. I absolutely love Doe Deere , her style, and her Brand!
I purchased Cosmopop, No she didn't, and D'lilac last year and absolutely loved them! there so opaque and bright and super creamy. As for the two new ones I love the colors so much but I didn't find them to apply like the other ones which was a little bit of a disappointment, But if You know how to work with them they should be okay. I find Lime Crime to make such bold beautiful colors and I recommend them to everybody ! You can purchase them here: http://www.limecrimemakeup.com/ and they each retail for 16.50.
I hope you girls enjoyed my review and check out the lipsticks!
